Spil (which means “pivot” in Dutch) is a new media brand built around the idea that no single story tells is the whole story. Aimed for a Gen Z audience tired of biased headlines and one-sided narratives, we created a bold visual system with the logo at its core.
From the front, the logo starts as an asterisk, an invitation to dive deeper into the news, then pivots into an axis, revealing new angles and perspectives.
Acting as a navigation tool, the logo anchors a rich visual universe: a vibrant color palette that darkens as you go deeper into the story, paired with a set of icons and animations that nod to shifting POVs. The result is a dynamic, perspective-driven identity grounded in movement, depth, and multiplicity.
